More information on becoming an Interserve Partner:

 1.  You must be a practising member of a recognised Christian church.

2.  Your church and pastor must recognise your calling and agree to stand behind you.  They must agree to support you 

     financially if necessary, and in prayer.  The church will be required to sign a 3-way agreement.

3.  You must assent to our statement of faith, and to the rules and ministry statement of Interserve International.

4.  You should request and return the necessary application forms.

5.  You need to attend at least one interview with our committee in either Johannesburg or Cape Town.

6.  You will need to undergo full medical and psychological assessments by approved medical practitioners.

7.  If you are going for a long term assignment, you will need to undergo language training courses.

8.  You will need to undertake any further training or courses deemed necessary by the National Committee.

9.  You and your church must agree to pay the required fees and necessary costs.

COSTS:

1.  The National Committee charges a fee per person or family in order to run the National Offices.

2.  Partners and their churches are responsible for fees payable for:

    *  Language training (if necessary)

    * Conference costs where applicable

    *  Medical aid where applicable

    *  Evacuation Insurance  where applicable

    *  Pastoral Assistance and Administration

    *  Visas, work permits etc.

    *  Setting up allowance (Long term only)

    *  On Track costs of US$ 75 per person / First 3 months, US$ 25 per person / month thereafter  (Short term only) .

    *  Monthly subsistence.

 

THE NATIONAL COMMITTEE OF INTERSERVE SOUTH AFRICA ACCEPTS CANDIDATES AT THEIR OWN DISCRETION.
