Interserve was founded in 1852.  >From the beginning, we have had a dual commitment to evangelism and practical work that assists the people of undeveloped, struggling countries.  Our partners live and work among the people of those nations where Christ is least known, using their skills to assist them while being aware that the root of their problems lies in the spiritual realm.  

Interserve South Africa was founded in 1996 to assist professional and skilled South Africans of all backgrounds who are called by God and sent by their churches to live and work among the peoples of North Africa, the Middle East, West and Central Asia, and the Indian Sub-Continent
