DESCRIPTION
This is an exciting new English-medium university in a fascinating and dynamic part of the world.

Located in a major capital city, it is one of the first Western-style universities created with the support of other leading universities around the world.

The goal of the university is nothing less than to create a leading higher educational institution not only in Central Asia but on the Eurasian continent.

The university opened in late 2010 with 500 of the best students in the country who were accepted using the admissions standards of its international partners.

Since then the student body and the faculty continue to expand rapidly.

They are now looking to recruit additional, well-qualified and experienced Physics teachers for the university preparatory course.

Post-holders will be involved in all aspects of the teaching, assessment and practical laboratory sessions of the Physics subject module on this one-year foundation programme for high-achieving students.

The posts are funded for three years in the first instance, starting in September 2012.

Post-holders will hold an undergraduate degree qualification and a recognised teaching qualification.

A proven track-record of Physics or science teaching experience is essential for these posts, together with expertise and experience in teaching international students, preferably within a university environment. Post-holders will have the necessary organisational and interpersonal skills to work successfully within a newly developing international educational environment.
