Murree Christian School is a small boarding school situated some 7000ft up in in the wooded foothills of the Himalayan foothills. The school was founded to support the educational needs of expatriate families serving in this and neighboring countries. It currently has some 45 students from grades 4 to 12. Curriculum and methods are based on the American and European systems. In the high school, students are prepared to enter American, European and Commonwealth colleges and universities. Murree Christian School is in need of a student counselor/adviser/psychologist to share the responsibility and care of its students. This position could be shared with the Member Care Foundation for someone with the right mix of qualifications The qualified individual would have an excellent track record in counselling and caring for children, teenagers, individuals and families. Additionally, s/he should have the ability to work in partnership, the personality and skills to motivate and inspire others and good organizational skills. This is a position for someone with a personal Christian Commitment with an evangelical outlook. Guidance counselling experience would be an advantage. |
